Anti-Matter Matters
|
Dear Jonathan, I am convinced the Large Hadron Collider triggers natural disasters. I think the planet is a living entity in need of tender loving care. I feel the Hadron Collider can act like acupuncture on the Earth. A small twiddle of the 'needle' stimulates activity even on the other side of the globe. We are playing with dynamite here. Jane Dear Jane, I wish I didn't agree with you. Jonathan, Regarding the Hadron Collider, why are you so concerned about the space-time continuum? Rachel Dear Rachel, Because if it changes, it will make my job even harder!

Skew Risk
|
Hello Jonathan, I have a close friend who is going through turmoil. Whilst I have a sense of what he is struggling with, he won't talk. I have started to look at his forecast to see how to support him. A lot of what you have been saying fits with what seems to be going on - but I wonder whether you can actually do this for another person, or whether my interpretation of another person's horoscope will always be skewed to my own perceptions? Abi Dear Abi, As long as you're aware of that risk, you can minimise it.

Sign Language
|
Dear Jonathan,
If the universe is sending some pretty strong messages to someone but they don't listen, what would happen? Yvonne
Dear Yvonne,
We tend to imagine that it's like the first Harry Potter book when those letters from Hogwarts keep coming till the Dursleys
have to pay attention. But, actually, if the universe seemingly keeps on talking to you, specifically and insistently, you're either very
lucky, very special... or deluded! Most of us only ever get sent the odd subtle hint. If we ignore it, the universe simply acts like an
overruled satnav and recalculates a new route.

Not the End of the World
|
Dear Jonathan,
I'm surrounded by friends who tell me the end is nigh. The world is running out of oil, global warming is still a big threat, the Earth is no longer stable, currencies are collapsing, famine is imminent, governments will soon be no longer able to cope. We should all find our cover to run to. The world as we know it is ending and nothing but hardship and loss will ensue from the changes that come next. Michele
Dear Michele,
It's time you found some new friends! Really, I promise, the outlook is nowhere near that bad!

Wary End the Week
|
These days, we are all advised, when travelling by plane, to restrict our alcohol intake. You are likely to get more intoxicated, more quickly at high altitude. I have often thought a similar warning should be issued at full moon. Whatever you happen to be feeling, a full moon will amplify it. If you're happy, it will make you happier. If you're sad, sadder. And full moons are always a little more intense when they happen at the weekend. It's the combination of a strong celestial force with a powerful social factor. Be just a little wary this weekend.

Your Week Ahead
|
Do you feel as if you're shouting at the top of your voice but you're sounding like a whisper on the wind? Does it seem as if the world is full of ridiculous rules, petty protocols and ludicrous laws? Are strong emotions creating too much conflict for comfort? No matter what sign you are, there will be a flavour of all that frustration in what you encounter this week. We've still got a 'stationary Mercury'. Mars and Saturn are completing their opposition. And there's a Full Moon. But the good news is, all that pressure will soon ease off.
