Meaning to be Meaningful
|
Dear Jonathan,
Your horoscopes are cryptic! The readings for my sign last week had nothing to do with star signs and didn't make sense. 'Pink'.
Dear 'Pink',
Interestingly enough, you're not the first person to point this out! Over the years, I have heard various different explanations for this. Apparently, some people even think I do it because the secrets of the cosmos are not supposed to be revealed to those who have yet to be fully initiated in ancient truths. But I promise, there IS a meaning to every forecast. If you keep looking, you will find it!

Later this week, there's a glorious Full Moon. Two weeks after that, some people will see a glorious Solar Eclipse. I am always amazed by the way that, even though the Moon and Sun are so distant, the two fit together perfectly at such times. It is as if you can see the signature of the Creator in the heavens saying, 'You think all this is random?' Think again! And when the eclipse is annular, as it will be this month, it leaves a ring of fire around the Moon. That's like the signature carrying an extra, confident flourish!

Party Time
|
I know that it's more than two weeks till May's annular solar eclipse. I also know that, when it happens, I won't even be in a part of the world from which it is possible to see it. Even so, I am excited. You know how you can often sense an electric atmosphere in someone's home when they are getting ready to hold a party? I keep looking at the sky and sensing the imminence of a very special event. We are all entitled to expect a little extra blessing in our lives at some point later this month.

Gemoney
|
A recent study of Britain's richest people contained a lot of Geminis. But mathematicians have been busily pointing out that the figure is not 'statistically significant'. Choose 1,000 people, on pretty much any basis and you're bound to get a few more born under one sign than any other. I accept that. Astrologers would be more prone to expect a lot of those horoscopes to have strong Jupiter/ Venus aspects than representations of any particular sign. Yet of all the signs to come out on top, it seems appropriate that it should be the one that governs commerce and communication.

Super Moon
|
Keep a close eye on the Full Moon this weekend. It is now about as close to the Earth as it ever gets. The Moon regularly comes a little nearer to the Earth, then slips slightly further away. But this doesn't always happen at Full Moon and it hasn't happened quite this close to a Full Moon for 100 years. Many expect it to trigger exceptionally high tides. Some are even speaking about earthquakes and floods. But whatever else this 'Supermoon' does, it will look unusually big when it rises... and suggests an exceptionally intense weekend for us all.

Super Moon Weekend!
|
This weekend brings the biggest, brightest Full Moon for 100 years. Try to take a look at it when it is first rising up over the horizon around sunset. It seems almost unfeasibly close.... and that's at least partially because it is closer than usual. The Moon's journey through the sky causes it to perform a little dance with the Earth where it regularly steps nearer, then further back. It's now as near as it ever gets... and because it happens to be full, that makes it as powerful as ever gets. People are calling it a 'Supermoon' - although you may want to find other names to call it as you begin to notice how much emotion and intensity it is stirring up in your life! I've made a special video, talking more about this - and explaining how, if you'd like a moon-sign forecast, based on your date of birth, you can get one as soon as you join the 5 Star Service. It's free to watch the video... and if you take out a trial membership of 5 star, you can hear your moon sign reading for free, too! Click here!
