That could explain ghosts! Maybe they've used a time machine to revisit their life and clear up a trauma - and they haven't listened to the instructions, so have got stuck. Thursday June 14 More on the Transit of Venus Though the Transit of Venus lasted several hours, it was visible from the UK for only one hour at dawn. I had planned to view it from an outdoor event where I had given a talk the previous day. Indeed, I was so keen that, when I realised the sky was overcast, I considered catching a plane from the nearest airport. But all flights were full. I went to bed feeling a bit miffed but thankfully, at 5 am, my fellow astrologers woke me to say the clouds had cleared. Tomorrow I'll explain more about what this meant to me. Friday June 15 Venus Between Us We were all affected by last week's Transit of Venus - whether we saw it or not. But as an astrologer, I was eager to observe it. I even felt a duty to seize this rare chance to witness the planet of love, revealing her shape against the Sun. I felt sure that if I watched through eclipse glasses and opened my mind, I'd be blessed with a deeper understanding. Early on Wednesday, from the top of a hill in Somerset, I caught the last hour of this historic event. Next week, I'll share the insights I was blessed with. Saturday June 16 Your Week Ahead I often get letters from people who are worried about the state of the world. 'Things,' they say, 'seem to be getting worse. You only have to turn on the news to see yet another dismal report.' But the news doesn't always accurately reflect the nature of the world. There are far more positives than negatives - yet inspiring stories are often only told to provide dramatic contrast with the tales of trouble that invariably grab headlines.
