Super Moon
Although most people celebrated the Solstice on Friday morning, the Sun appears to stand still on the horizon for three days running. Today is still close enough to the 'Solstice' for the potential to review, relaunch and revive the best aspects of the past to be just as strong. Plus, as you may have noticed over the weekend, the Moon is looking exceptionally fat and full. That's because it is now as close to the Earth as its orbit ever takes it and, when it rises this evening, it will be a Supermoon. Get ready for intense but exhilarating experiences.

Still Standing
Many people report more emotionally intense experiences under a Supermoon. Some are swept away by stronger passions or more profound anxieties; others say they feel a greater affinity for and empathy with the ones they love most. Nor is it just the Solstice and the Supermoon influencing us lately. Mercury is about to begin one of its regular retrograde phases. Right now, to all intents and purposes, the planet of commerce, communication, travel and transport is 'standing still' in the zodiac. If you're dealing with delays and difficulties they should resolve within the next couple of days or so.

Stress Relief
Jupiter now enters a new sector of the sky. It is over a year since Jupiter last changed heavenly abode and more than a decade since it last occupied this particular sign. For Cancerians, Sagittarians and Pisceans, this is encouraging. Some say that because Jupiter now leaves Gemini, those born under this sign may sense a loss. But I find Geminis tend to have a slight 'allergic reaction' to Jupiter's influence. Its presence has been a source of stress from which there is now relief. As for what it means to the rest of us, I'll say more tomorrow.

Home Truths
Jupiter spends roughly a year in each sign of the zodiac. Western astrologers see Jupiter years in much the same way as our oriental counterparts see Chinese zodiac years. Just as to be born in the year of the dragon suggests a ferocity and the year of the ox implies a stubborn streak, children born when Jupiter is in Gemini have a natural affinity with commerce. Children to whom domesticity is exceedingly important tend to be born in the year of Jupiter in Cancer. A 'Jupiter in Cancer year' began just yesterday. It will last until July 16, 2014.

Friday June 28
The Solstice, The Super-moon, Mercury's change of direction and Jupiter's change of sign, have made this quite a week for any of us, including me! Whilst I didn't join the crowd at Stonehenge last Friday, I was lucky enough to be invited to a small Druid ceremony, later. This brought a tear to my eye and so touched my heart that, when they asked if anyone wanted to be initiated as a Druid Bard, I, er, ahem... volunteered. Meanwhile, this weekend, as some readers may have noticed from recent predictions, I'm turning my attention to some different historic stones.

Your July Monthly Forecast
Some people are a little apprehensive about July, not least because Mercury will be retrograde for most of the month. But Mercury is often retrograde and it has an exaggerated reputation for causing transport trouble and communication confusion. There may be some problems. But then, there are always problems. And there are always solutions too! Speaking of solutions, the month's most exciting news involves the conjunction of Mars and Jupiter around July 20! Alignments like this happen only once every two years. They promise breakthroughs and victories, especially for all who fly the flag of a noble, sincere hope!
