Following Venus' move opposite Saturn at the weekend, some astrologers are suggesting that we're doomed to feel heartbroken and that we'll be tempted to spend the week eating ice-cream straight from the tub. Comfort eating aside, it does mean that we can't be as footloose and fancy free as we might like to be with matters of the heart. It's a time for stability and commitment, with perseverance providing the key to prosperity. Put down the spoon! Life will soon be sweet enough without it.

Full Moon Disclosure

The Sagittarian Moon is Full. With Mercury returning home to Gemini, like Sherlock Holmes on a Tinder date, the celestial message is about open hearts and curious minds. Actually, if you were betting on anyone searching for love and being able to find it, you'd expect Sherlock to stand a good chance of picking up its trail. But whether it's love we're seeking, or other emotional fulfilment, the clues to finding it aren't hard to find. The culmination of this particular journey is part of a longer story.

Light Work

With Mercury in Gemini, it's not just the sign of the twins that benefits from a sharper mind and a more silvery tongue. When the planet of communication returns to one of its home signs it recharges, and we all benefit from the extra energy. There will be more light bulbs appearing overhead than at the international convention of lighthouse keepers! It does suggest that we can be easily distracted by an abundance and variety of new signals. Just stay focused... there's a light to guide each of us now.

I'm hooked on Busk England, a series of articles by Tom Kitching, an English fiddle player. It features him exploring the country of his birth trying to reconnect with its people in the wake of recent political schisms and idealistic divides. Quite apart from being a well-written account of visiting interesting places, the blog is further proof of the way that music can open doors. He shows how communication is the key to healing. As the Grand Trine arrives tomorrow, sensitivity becomes more of a strength.

Grand Trine

Venus moves into a harmonious relationship with Jupiter today, as Jupiter makes the same alignment with Neptune. Together, over the course of the weekend, these three planets form a powerful Grand Trine - a celestial blessing of strength, unity and support. Venus' kindness and charm harmonise with Jupiter's generosity and wisdom, along with Neptune's vision and sensitivity. It's time to recognise the value of an optimistic outlook coupled with a vivid imagination. Some dreams are possible, affordable and tangible too.

Your June Monthly Forecast

June brings the magical moment when the Sun climbs to the furthest point on its journey and appears to stand still for three days. But the Solstice isn't the only turning point worth talking about this month. The planet of awakenings, Uranus, makes another of its tense links to dreamy Neptune adding extra energy to the mystery of the annual celestial phenomenon. The ancients saw the Solstice as a time to celebrate their gods and goddesses. If you want assistance from a celestial helper, this is a good time to ask.
