It's in the process of changing direction as it ends its slow passage backwards, a journey that began in March. Now, it begins the final leg of its journey around the zodiac as it heads towards a Sagittarian homecoming in November. The planet of adventure, luck and opportunity will then be at its strongest point since 2007. But, we don't have to twiddle our thumbs until then. Venus enters Virgo today on her way to making a Grand Trine with Saturn and Uranus. Hang on. Haven't I gone on enough about Grand Trines? Didn't the Sun make one at the weekend? I thought they were supposed to be rare and special? You'd be forgiven for thinking they're as common as London buses! But given the fact that this newest configuration won't be stopping again for nearly 30 years, I suggest we get on board without worrying about the timetable! But it wasn't just that we've got several turning up at once that made me choose the analogy. As Venus settles into Virgo, I wanted to bring up the idea of service... of doing what's right and necessary to facilitate progress. There are changes to be made if we want to be confident that the wheels will stay on and keep rolling in the right direction. That may require some elbow grease.
