Monday March 9
Super Moon

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a meteorite heading towards Earth? No, it's a Supermoon! Why would I have trouble working out what it is when surely it's easy to spot? Perhaps because Neptune, planet of mirage and illusion, converging with the Sun, is making it surprisingly tricky to understand situations. Fortunately, the Venus-Uranus conjunction ensures that any changes made now will be worthwhile. And Mercury turning direct tomorrow, combined with the Virgo Moon, brings clarity to check the details.

Moving Forward

I don't need a telescope to pinpoint the moment that Mercury turns direct today. I'll know when the mountain of Valentine cards that must have gone missing in the post finally hits my doorstep. (Although some people think I'm mistaken in my ideas about what happened to those cards, and question their very existence!) Mercury's inertia makes us all the more inclined to keep our own counsel and ignore advice. But, as it joins the rest of the zodiac in moving forward, we'll soon understand what's what.

Climb Every Molehill
|

Although a few hurdles must be climbed between now and then, I want to start talking about Jupiter and Pluto's impending convergence. Actually, one or two of those hurdles might, at least, on approach, feel more like mountains than molehills. But they won't get any smaller through worry or fretting. As the Sun receives Jupiter's encouragement today, we can afford to be optimistic. We're being shown how deep reserves of strength and insight can be used to make the best of our opportunities.

Getting the Breaks
|

We've all been in situations where we've tried to wish something into existence. And, although I believe in the power of positive visualisation, some key elements have to be right... we can't be operating out of desperation. There's a big difference between ploughing on and hoping for the best, and actively engaging with our situation to put us in a position to receive the breaks we want. Mars and Neptune make an encouraging link this weekend. That's a dream scenario worth pursuing.

Friday March 13
Good Luck

There's a certain four-letter word that I hardly dare mention, but it's something we enjoy when it's good. Recently I've talked about putting ourselves into the best position to receive it. And with the Sun's links with Jupiter encouraging growth and generosity and Pluto's deep intensity, as long as we're sensitively optimistic, we can count on more of it this weekend. Even though Friday the 13th is associated with its opposite, I'm referring to 'luck' of the good kind. Make the most of it.

Your Weekly Horoscope

Following its rendezvous with Pluto in January, Saturn's next big moment arrives next weekend. As it changes signs for the first time since 2017, it shifts its emphasis to technology and making sure that progress is structured and purposeful. Imagine the internet without websites... that's what we had back before Saturn last visited its Aquarian home in 1991. And, with the Equinox arriving as Mars converges with Jupiter, we'll have the courage and conviction to rise to the challenge.
