Fly me to the Moon
|

In the immortal words of Sinatra, 'Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars'. Today, the New Moon converges with Venus and makes a Minor Grand Trine with the planets helpfully included in the next line of that song. It's International Day of Human Space Flight and, somewhat appropriately, if we press the 'ignition' button on any projects, they'll move like rockets! Using gentle encouragement (rather than thunderous fury) today will initiate a more valuable, controllable reaction.

Great Conjunction
|

Dear Oscar, Last December's Great Conjunction occurred closer to Earth than at any point since 1623. But some people suggest 1226 was a more accurate reference because, due to the Sun's position, its later arrival may not have been visible. How important is it to actually see these things? Yours, Caroline
Dear Caroline, Do we feel the New Moon's effects? What about Pluto's? Neither are visible to the naked eye, but they're linked strongly today. Together, they allow hidden issues to be addressed. Seeing may be believing... but feeling matters too! Yours, Oscar

Prince Philip

Prince Philip's funeral will be on a smaller scale than normal and, having attended a beloved grandparent's funeral during lockdown, I know how upsetting this can be. Yet, the Prince's life is being celebrated across the globe; and no matter how frustrating, the pandemic measures we need to take in order to preserve our future aren't disrespecting the past. As Venus enters Taurus, it reminds us to appreciate what we have, and encourages us to seek harmony. This is a time for reconciliation and giving thanks.

The Way that you Say it
|

Sometimes, it's not what we say, but what we don't say that reveals the most. For example, the more I tell my wife that today is Husband Appreciation Day, the less inclined she seems to be to express her gratitude! I know her feelings for me run deep, but I'm starting to worry about their nature... with Mercury soon linking to mysterious Pluto, what we aren't communicating matters just as much as what we do! Questions are important, but words are powerful - use them wisely today.

Judge Not Lest Ye...
|
More Sally Fisher Art here.
|
Yesterday, we talked of being careful about what we say. That's because not only does the planet of communication link sharply with secretive Pluto this weekend, but it also harmonises with forthright Mars and moral Jupiter. We may feel compelled to pronounce judgment. And even when intentions are noble, words have a power of their own. There's nothing wrong with asking brave questions on big issues. But, the answers might not match the information being uncovered.

Your Weekly Horoscope
|
More Sally Fisher Art here.

They say that 'only fools rush in'. But they also say that 'the early bird catches the worm'. So how early is too early? And isn't it foolish to eat worms! Following its Minor Grand Trine configuration with assertive Mars and enthusiastic Jupiter, Mercury converges with the Sun before they both change signs this week. So, while it's important to look before leaping, we shouldn't risk missing opportunities by doubting our plans. It's not 'winner takes all' now. But, in order to share the spoils, we have to join the action.
