Chuck Berry

It's Chuck Berry's birthday; and I can't think of a more appropriate soundtrack to today's cosmic climate than 'Roll Over Beethoven'. Although traditionalists think it disrespects the classical composer, with Mercury turning direct, we can worry less about joyful enthusiasm being misconstrued. What's more, the irrepressible ability of this music to thrill, energise and get people moving also describes Jupiter's effects, as it turns direct whilst harmonising with Mars. The shackles are coming off. It's time to let our hair down.

Hot Air Power
More Sally Fisher Art here.
While the UK struggles with an energy crisis, there's no shortage of hot air being emitted by politicians! If only we could harness this, we'd have access to an abundant renewable power resource! Whatever environmental issues we face, at least the approaching Full Moon isn't affected. And, with Mars opposite our silvery companion, there's a tiger in the tank. Although there's no queue at these pumps, we still shouldn't waste this emotional fuel. Focusing on meaningful transformation will drive us in the right direction.

Hunter's Moon
More Sally Fisher Art here.
The Hunter's Moon, in Aries, is anything but straightforward. With subtle Pluto linked to both ends of the Lunar axis, tensions will come to a head and manifest in less obvious ways than we expect. Life on planet Earth is often affected by unseen forces and hidden agendas. Yet the discovery of such influences needn't be unsettling... it can be empowering and cathartic. Today, instead of thinking about what we want, we're being encouraged to concentrate on how we want to feel. Deep desires can be satisfied.

Back To The Future
More Sally Fisher Art here.
Scriptwriters love the idea of being able to travel back in time and make subtle changes, which radically alter the present. This is Back To The Future Day, when one of the most successful examples of this trope is celebrated. Ironically, we don't need DeLoreans, or even movies, to experience time travel. We can simply look up and see the light of countless stars arriving on Earth billions of years after it's been emitted. We're all time travellers. Taking targeted action now could make all the difference to the future.

Soft Power

Everyone accepts that writing in 'caps lock' is akin to shouting. There's less consensus on how to communicate quietly. But let me try. Pssst! I've something to tell you! As the Sun moves into a new sign this weekend, subtle changes are afoot. We need to reconfigure what we want to achieve and how we go about it. We'll be more successful if we don't make a song and dance about it. Volume doesn't always equal power.

Your Weekly Horoscope
More Sally Fisher Art here.
When we don't care too much about being diplomatic, we can employ unconventional tactics more easily. With intense displays of feelings we can knock conventionality out the window. This week, as the Sun enters Scorpio, there's no use beating around any bushes. That's not to encourage crashing through hedges and getting scratched; the Venus/Neptune link highlights delicate, creative approaches rather than no-holds-barred attacks. But by letting go of the need to please, we can press ahead with what's instinctively right.
