Netflix Rules?

When it comes to communicating, less is often more. Meanings can get lost in a barrage of words. Although Jupiter's final hours in Pisces might cause some confusion, the planet of luck's encouraging links with Mercury and Mars empower our thoughts, no matter how imperfectly expressed they might be. We don't need to feature in a Netflix special to explain our perspective either! When we speak our truths, with good intentions, we can be confident that the message will be well received.

Jupiter arrives in Aries

Today, seven months since Jupiter arrived in Aries for the first time since 2011, the planet of good fortune re-enters the sign of the ram - where it travelled back and forth before reversing out in October. Its residence, which lasts until May, promises a fresh start for bold and daring enterprises. Where confidence has been dented, it brings reinvigorating enthusiasm. If we draw on past experiences, and set meaningful objectives, faith in visions will be rewarded with successes that can be shared.

Until 2034

With Jupiter exploring Aries for the last time until 2034, there's lots of celestial moving and shaking going on. Not only is the Sun entering Capricorn and forming a dynamic relationship with Jupiter, but it's the Solstice - an important celestial moment where we analyse the triumphs and troubles of the past six months and look forwards to our plans for the future. This year, with so much positivity in the skies, we can set our sights high and focus on the horizon with renewed confidence.

As we approach the Solstice New Moon aligned with Jupiter, the skies encourage us to strive forwards with intention and purpose. It's time to consider the consequences of our actions and to ask whether they advance progress, in positive ways in keeping with wholesome, nourishing philosophies. Even though the intense demands of the festive season bring challenges, if we're determined to develop and flourish, there's a high chance of the next few days being enriching and fun.

Solstice New Moon Arrives

The Christmas weekend skies are dark as the Solstice New Moon arrives. This point of the year has been a time of feast and celebration across the millennia. In the Northern Hemisphere it marks the hardest point of winter, which is why this is the season to express generosity and hope. People have always got together to enjoy good company and share reasons to be optimistic. The Solstice New Moon affirms this tradition. Under the cover of darkness, seeds of positive change can be planted.

Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas! Although it's the time of year when, eggnog-inspired versions of Silent Night can be heard, as expansive Jupiter meets Uranus, the planet of surprises, the night skies will be anything but silent! But, over the noisiness, the cosmos calls us to reflect on the values of honesty and openness. It's by staying true to ourselves that we can engage meaningfully with others. Mercury's about to turn retrograde, suggesting we'll all have to apologise for something eventually. But that's just par for Christmas!

Merry Christmas from me and all of us here at Cainer.com. I don't usually write a 'thought for the day' on Sundays.... but it's a special day! And with communicative Mercury aligning with sensitive Neptune, I couldn't resist sharing the deep appreciation we feel to all the loyal readers that visit our site. May your day be full of warmth, compassion and expressions of thanks and joy. With the energy the cosmos now provides, there's every chance it will!
