But not the kind of ineffective fury that causes problems. Anger is a powerful emotion: when directed in positive ways it becomes a tool in the fight for justice. Today we're encouraged to initiate change. Even in situations that seem totally stuck, with a different mindset, impressive shifts are possible. It's easy to underestimate the subtle impact of this alignment. Try not to. Actions started today can be transformative. Tuesday September 12 Leo Szilard 90 years ago, Leo Szilard was waiting to cross the road in Bloomsbury, London. As he stepped off the curb he conceived the idea of a nuclear chain reaction, and its consequences. Sometimes we work hard for answers that don't arrive. And sometimes answers pop up out of the blue. And often it's not the idea itself that matters... it's how we instigate it. Really good ideas improve the lives of others (as well as ourselves). The coming New Moon suggests these sorts of concepts are floating around.
