Accepting an Oscar
A handful of Hollywood stars will wake up with an Oscar today. I of course, am nowhere near LA; those little gold namesakes were awarded in my absence. But I like the idea that accepting an 'Oscar' into your life changes it for the better! Following the New Moon in Pisces, with Venus also entering the sign of the fish, acceptance is today's key word. Even though we might not find ourselves in the spotlight making speeches of gratitude, there are opportunities to share and celebrate the gifts life brings our way.

Ramadan and Lent
We're in the seasons of Ramadan and Lent. It's a time when people, across the planet are choosing to make physical sacrifices in the hope of spiritual rewards. And with Venus (love and pleasure) in mutual reception with Jupiter (healing and good fortune) the cosmos encourages us all to remember that by consciously choosing to forego something we enjoy, even though the benefits of sacrifice might not be tangible, the intention makes life more meaningful. By looking beyond our own needs, exciting changes can result.

Radiohead's Up
With Venus (love and pleasure) in mutual reception with Jupiter (luck and prosperity), this is one of those times when things that appear to go 'wrong' have the potential to lead us in surprisingly positive directions. Just as the Radiohead guitarist's attempt to sabotage a song he felt was too quiet led to the iconic chorus in their hit 'Creep', problems provide avenues for growth. By following our intuition, and confidently sharing our inspiration, even if we don't create a bestselling song, we can make sweet music.

Thursday March 14
Virtual Pyramid
My son and I just completed a virtual tour of the pyramids. Although it was fascinating and fun, it was strange not to experience the physicality; because we weren't actually wandering around together, I didn't get to hold his hand! Despite all the talk about the 'metaverse' and VR headsets, there's no way of escaping the fact that the digital landscape feels lonely. Today, as Mercury and Mars align, whilst linked with Uranus, breakthroughs must be grounded in reality. The most exciting future is one we can reach out and touch.

The Ides of March
It's the Ides of March, a date traditionally associated with the violent end of a Roman emperor. And in the aftermath of yesterday's powerful cosmic alignments, there might well be some vigorous discussion about what needs to change and who needs to take responsibility and change it. But this weekend's positive astrological climate suggests there are better ways to make progress than plotting people's downfalls. When it comes to directing the way forwards, it's time to be inspired and lead by example.

Saturday March 16
Your Weekly Horoscope
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the aviator and poet, wrote "A goal without a plan is just a wish." Similarly, a plan without action remains a dream. This week, as the Sun and Mars converge with Neptune before the Equinox, the cosmos encourages us to apply effort to bubbling ideas. Fortunately, as Venus and Saturn combine, although work is required, there is fun to be had. With a combination of commitment and imagination we can turn flights of fantasy into realistic possibilities.
