Hidden Treasure
With Pluto, the planet of mystery, power and revolution in free-thinking Aquarius, transformative change is possible. Issues that have been pushed to the back of our minds resurface, and secrets can be revealed. Although seeking inner truth can be scary, it leads to the discovery of hidden strengths and untapped resources. And with Venus, the planet of love, preparing to enter Capricorn, the value of facing our more secretive sides leads to breakthroughs that have practical value. With courage, treasure can be found.

Not my Oscar
I'm expecting to see my name in the headlines today. Thankfully not for anything naughty... I hope! It's because the nominations for the Academy Awards are being announced. So, while I prepare for crushing disappointment as the Hollywood elite get excited about a different 'Oscar', I'll content myself with the knowledge that as Venus leaves Sagittarius today, we're entering more stable emotional territory. It's time to appreciate the people who give us love and joy. That's a prize worth receiving and sharing.

An Old Mac
Apple released its first Mac 40 years ago today. Back then its technology was considered revolutionary. These days, new laptops might feature cool, minimalist packaging and shiny brushed-metal casing, but once you start them up, it's the same old spreadsheets and word processing software! As the Full Moon approaches, creativity remains at the heart of what we do. Any tool (be it technical or not) needs to be used in order to have value. Working with what we have, and being innovative, brings results today.

Burns Night
It's Burns Night, when people of Scottish descent (and lots of other folk too) celebrate their national poet. Since it's also the Leo Full Moon, it's a good night for celebrations of all kinds. The cosmos highlights joyful anticipation and encourages us all to take time to appreciate the good things in our world. By sharing our enthusiasm, the more joyful life will be. Although bagpipes, haggis and whisky add fun to anyone's evening, with this cosmic encouragement, we don't need much rhyme (or reason) to feel good.

A Cold Century
It's 100 years since the first Winter Olympic Games. Meanwhile people celebrating Australia Day are in the height of summer! Yet as innovative Uranus changes direction this weekend, wherever we are, and whatever the weather, we're being called to march to the beat of our own drum. By considering different approaches we can get closer to realising our goals. And with Venus' encouragement, even if we don't achieve medal-winning results, we'll enjoy the process and make satisfying progress.

Your February Monthly Horoscope
In February, as power planet Mars converges with mysterious Pluto in Aquarius (for the first time since the American Revolution), hidden, meaningful aspects of our lives will resurface. Suppressed feelings become impossible to ignore. And with Venus adding to the impact of their Valentine's Day meeting, this revolutionary sweetness can effect powerful change. Without allowing emotions to sweep away reason, dormant passions can be rekindled and used to create radical, positive transformation.
